Throughout the year, the RILDS team has collaborated with various agency partners on diverse projects. Our work often includes helping partners clean, prepare, link, and restructure datasets to answer policy and research questions, but we also build data visualizations. Data visualizations are an important tool that can effectively communicate complex datasets and findings in digestible formats. While not all our work is public-facing, we wanted to highlight some of our projects and our agency partners' excellent work—showing how we're all working to make data more accessible and understandable.
The Rhode Island Longitudinal Data System (RILDS) connects data from early childhood, through K-12 and higher education, and into the workforce. We exist to inform policy and facilitate research that improves the well-being of all Rhode Islanders.
